NASCAR concluded ambitious international TV broadcast rights deals.
In mid-February NASCAR (The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, Inc.) announced broadcast rights agreements with Fox Sports Mexico and Bandeirantes to make their races available to fans in Latin America this 2022.
Both deals, which run through 2024, include all three NASCAR EU national series, NASCAR Mexico Series and business partners properties IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and American Flat Track.
FOX Sports Mexico, a long-time NASCAR partner, broadcasts a wide variety of sporting events and sports talk shows throughout Mexico. Fox Sports Mexico will broadcast all NASCAR Cup Series races starting with the recently held Daytona 500.
NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Mexico races will also be available for the entire 2022 season.
Daniel Suárez will race all the NASCAR Cup races, premier category, now with the Next Gen Car, and Max Gutiérrez will include in his 10 commitments 2022 in the US four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races (Charlotte, May 27; Kansas, September 9; Homestead, October 22; and Phoenix, November 4).
The races are broadcast in more than 25 languages and will reach more than 600 million homes starting in 2022. Live NASCAR races can be seen in some of the largest countries in the world, including China, Brazil and Russia ( this information was given before the war in Europe).
Live streaming coverage reaches key markets in the Americas and Europe including Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
We are excited to have done so we can better serve NASCAR fans in the region, said Nick Skipper, Managing Director of NASCAR Media Strategy.
