The start of the 2025 NASCAR Mexico Series season couldn’t have been more exciting for Julio Rejón and the number 55 Núcleo Sepec / Prodar / Grúas Lastra / Urlin Trucking car.
Debuting a new design on his car, the driver started with great determination at the Súper Óvalo Potosino, achieving pole position in one of the closest classifications in recent years.
Julio had just closed 2024 with a victory in Mexico City, which demonstrated his great evolution within the category. Now, in his third year in the NASCAR Mexico Series, he reaffirms his growth and ambition by dominating the classification and positioning himself as one of the drivers to beat this year.
The race on Sunday, March 24 presented a great challenge, where Rejón led most of the time with a solid pace. However, in the final minutes, the competition intensified and several rivals managed to overtake him, leading him to close the day in eighth position.
The GGG Racing Team remains positive and looking ahead to the upcoming dates, knowing that this year is key to consolidating itself as one of the best teams.
