The Dimayuga Racing Team made its presentation to face the 2023 NASCAR Mexico and SUPER CUP seasons, in an event that broke schemes at the CODEME (Mexican Sports Confederation) facilities in Mexico City. Its young official driver Andrik Dimayuga will run in 20 dates in total, representing the famous COMPAQ world brand, with the aim of being crowned champion in both serials and raising the name of the team.
At the facilities of the Ciudad Deportiva de la Magdalena Mixhuca, next to the Hermanos Rodríguez Autodrome, our cathedral of motorsports, in the capital of the Republic, the premises of the Mexican Sports Confederation opened its doors for the presentation-press conference, food, unveiling of the cars and fireworks almost at nightfall, in what was a great event, where hosts, special guests, sponsors and representatives of the media lived together.
Present were Francisco Cabezas, President of CODEME; Miguel Dimayuga, Dimayuga Racing Team Owner, Michel Jourdain Jr.; General Director of Super Cup; Juan Salazar, Director of the Dimayuga Racing Team; Verónica Carranza, Marketing Director of the Dimayuga Racing Team; Evencio Flores, Press Director; and, of course, Andrik Dimayuga, Official Driver of the Dimayuga Racing Team.
The act was masterfully led by Ed Martínez.
Andrik Dimayuga will run 20 dates (with 28 races), 12 in NASCAR and 8 in Super Cup, in this year’s seasons, with the sponsors COMPAQ (the main one), Comercializadora Virdi and Flight Crew.
The young 18-year-old driver, who has a top-level physical trainer and sports psychologist, will drive the Mercedes Benz in the Super Cup and the Chevrolet Camaro in NASCAR, both cars with the already iconic number 67.
His goal is to be champion of NASCAR Mexico and Super Cup 2023, before being able to reach NASCAR EU and participate in European Gran Turismo championships, among other sporting challenges.
