Federico Fico Gutiérrez had satisfactory results in his Pro Late Model Series debut on November 27 at Southern National Motorsports Parks, close to Raleigh, capital of North Carolina, United States, with Rette Jones Racing, whose owners Mark Rette and Terry Jones They have great faith in him and his brother Max Gutiérrez, described as “The Gutiérrez Brothers” in their ambitious development project in NASCAR USA.

In Lucama, to be precise, in the “Thanksgiving Classic”, Fico Gutiérrez finished in seventh place on the half-mile oval after 125 agreed laps, showing a qualified intelligent driving, with the support of the team and his own brother Max (current fourth place in the NASCAR PEAK championship and fourth place in the 2021 ARCA Menards East Series championship, and winner of the first race of the year of that category in the US).

In the two practice sessions Fico clocked the best time in the first and fourth in the second, and in the two-lap qualifying phase he was eighth on the starting grid.

For the 2022 season, the Development Project of “The Gutiérrez Brothers” continues by TOUGHBUILT, BOLSA DX and TEKNEKK, with Escudería Telmex Telcel.

For now, both drivers will face their respective challenges in Puebla, a double date, which means the semi-final and final of the NASCAR PEAK and Trucks México Series, on December 4 and 5, at the Autódromo Internacional Miguel E. Abed.

Fico, 15, is third place in the Trucks Mexico Series, and Max, 18, is fourth place and the best NASCAR PEAK rookie, as already mentioned, in his first year in this premier category.

Max, by the way, was the 2018 Trucks Mexico Series Champion and the 2020 NASCAR Challenge Champion in our country. And Fico was Top 5 in the 2020 Mexico Series Trucks Championship in his first year in the category, when he was just 14 years old.

It is a significant fact that for the two consecutive races in Puebla, Hamlet Panosian (EVP E-Commerce of TOUGHBUILT) and Juan Villegas (SVP Sales América Latina of TOUGHBUILT) will be present, as well as directors of TOUGHBUILT of Latin America, and senior managers of BOLSA DX, to instill encouragement and energy to “The Gutiérrez Brothers”.
