MAX GUTIÉRREZ GAINS EXPERIENCE IN DAYTONA

After reaching the podium in third place in New Smyrna, which meant the 2022 opening of the ARCA East Series (where he won in 2021), Max Gutiérrez participated for the first time in the mythical Daytona International Speedway, in less than a week, in ARCA National.

Although in practice at the aptly named World Center of Racing he was one of the fastest, at the beginning he had problems with qualifying and later, in the race, he entered the pits twice and finally went into the garage to solve an electrical problem, a fact that affected his aspirations of triumph with the Chevrolet car number 32.

Pre-race at Daytona: Jimmy Morales, Gustavo Arenas, Juan Villegas, José Sabates, Carlos Slim, Daniel Suárez, Max and Fico Gutiérrez, Guillermo Fernández, Luis Fuentes, Xristos Pappas, José Juan Gutiérrez and Mike Francis.

“I finished the race to have more experience in these types of super fast ovals. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to make my debut at a track like Daytona and with such a large field. But we are ready for Talladega, on April 23, another great test”, said the young Mexican driver who this year will race at least 10 races in the United States (ARCA East, ARCA national and Camping World Trucks), in addition to the full season of 12 races in the NASCAR Mexico Series in the premier category, which begins on April 10 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico.

By the way, José Sabates, director of the project for the development of Max Gutiérrez (and his brother Fico Gutiérrez) to reach the top of NASCAR EU, congratulates and thanks the sponsors TOUGHBUILT, BOLSADX, TEKNEKK and TELCEL.
